Dr Astin
Sleep & Respiratory Physician
Dr Astin is Clinical Director for Respiratory Medicine at University College London Hospital and a Consultant Physician specialising in Sleep, Respiratory and Exercise and Medicine. He leads the Neuro-Respiratory department at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery (‘Queen Square’) and conducts research at the UCL Centre for Human Health and Performance covering fields from sleep to muscle metabolism.

Dr Brown
Sleep & Respiratory Physician
Dr Brown holds degrees in physiology and medicine and is a Consultant Physician specialising in Sleep, Respiratory and Lifestyle Medicine. He has studied and practiced medicine across five continents in a healthcare career spanning 30 years.

Dr Hare
Sleep & Respiratory Physician
Dr Allie Hare (MA (Cantab) MB BS MEd FRCP) is a consultant Respiratory physician and specialist in Sleep and Respiratory Failure. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Cambridge and undertook her postgraduate training at Imperial College, London. She has a Masters in Medical Education, a PGCert in Medical Leadership and has been made a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians. She is President of the British Sleep Society and Hon Treasurer of the British Thoracic Society. In 2025, she was awarded a National Clinical Impact Award in recognition of the national importance of her work in sleep and respiratory medicine.

Dr Desai
Restorative Dentist
Is current President of British Society of Dental Sleep Medicine(BSDSM) and British Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (BADSM.). She is immediate Past President of Odontology Section of Royal Society of Medicine and serves on the Council of Sleep Section at Royal Society of Medicine.

Professor Willams
Professor
Professor Williams has had a long interest in Sleep Medicine dating back to research conducted at Harvard University. Subsequently he was appointed at UCLA and developed what was to become the largest sleep service within the Veterans Administration while at the same time co-directing the UCLA Sleep Disorders Centre.

Helen Purcell
Physiologist
Helen is Chief Respiratory and Sleep Physiologist at UCLH and leads the physiology department at Grace London. With over 20 years experience in Respiratory and Sleep physiology, she is a leader in her field, and is a Board member of the Association for Respiratory Technology and Physiology.

Professor Leschziner
Professor
Guy Leschziner is professor of neurology and sleep medicine at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospitals and the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, King's College London. Between 2013 and 2023, he was lead clinician for the sleep disorders department, where he developed a multidisciplinary sleep service comprising of neurologists, psychiatrists, respiratory physicians, psychologists and pharmacists. He has acted as a principal investigator in academic studies and commercial trials. He is the editor of the Oxford Handbook of Clinical Medicine, and neurology section editor for Principles and Practice of Sleep Medicine.
Additionally, he is heavily involved in public engagement, has presented several series for the BBC on sleep and neuroscience, and is author of three books on sleep and the brain.

Mr Karagama
ENT Surgeon
Mr Karagama is an Internationally renowned ENT Surgeon with special interest in snoring, obstructive sleep apnea, voice, swallowing, airway disorders. He leads the laryngology service in one of UK largest Teaching Hospital, Guy's and St Thomas's Hospital, London. He is a Senior Lecturer at King's College, London.
